About myHHBS

Dedicated to Ethical, High-Quality ABA Since 2015

We are an organization that provides ethical, individualized, personal, friendly, high quality ABA services since 2015 in a fun and caring environment for clients (Ages 1- adulthood) and their families. We are a team of Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts, Master Level Supervisors, Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Therapists in the field of autism, developmental disabilities, comorbid disorders, and Applied Behavior Analysis. We service the entire Los Angeles County, Orange County and Ventura County. Our services are provided in the home, community and our centers.

Effective, Evidence-Based Strategies for Meaningful Change

We are committed to utilizing scientifically proven and evidenced-based behavior analytic assessments and treatment interventions that include antecedent control procedures, behavior analytic teaching strategies (i.e., Natural Environment Teaching (NET), discrete trial training (DTT), shaping, chaining, task analysis, direct instruction, errorless learning, Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Precision Teaching) and consequence interventions (i.e., reinforcement, punishment, and extinction). Collaboration and cross training between families, caregivers, related service providers, medical personnel, clinical team and behavior analysts are provided to ensure treatment consistency across settings/people for skill maintenance and generalization and to foster independence.

Excellence Through Expertise and Education

MyHHBS employs well-rounded clinicians from diverse backgrounds. We have therapists, supervisors and BCBAs that have worked in the home, school and community settings. We only hire supervisors that have a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or are in their 2nd year of their MS/MA ABA program rather than employing supervisors in related fields. This enables us to provide the highest quality service from those who have extensive academic knowledge of ABA.

We place a priority on those clinicians that wish to become BCBA’s and provide consistent fieldwork supervision for those accruing fieldwork hours without any wait time.

Belonging, Trust, and Shared Success

We are a very close-knit team. We embrace collaboration and we all share in the joy of our clients’ progress. We prioritize open communication, trust and respect, mutual support, collaboration, and a sense of belonging for each other, our families/clients and all other service providers. We have created a culture of equality and equity regardless of position, experience and/or education and greatly value the opinion of all employees.

Family-Centered Care and Multidisciplinary Support

We expect caregivers to be active participants in their family member’s therapy; however, we understand that life sometimes takes a priority, and we do our very best to support our families in any way possible. We have experts on our team that can provide support related to school-based IEP’s/services and placement in addition to working with related services providers to create a cohesive treatment plan (e.g., speech and language, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adaptive physical education, psychologists, psychiatrists and other medical doctors and healthcare professionals.

Transparency, Integrity, and Honest Care

We are transparent. We are honest with you about wait times and the experience of therapists, supervisors and BCBAs. We don’t profess to know everything and are humble enough to recognize when we need further training. We ensure that all providers only treat within their competency. We will always prioritize the risk vs benefit of treatment to the client and the effect of treatment on the family.

Our priority is ethical assessment and treatment. We don’t take shortcuts; don’t recommend treatment hours that aren’t necessary; don’t tell you there isn’t a waiting list when there is one, nor do we refuse clients that only have a certain number of hours. Our clinical recommendations are based solely on the findings of the Functional Behavior Assessment, and individual needs of the clients and their families. If we can’t do it ethically, we don’t do it at all.
